Oops
Ten minutes ago I tried to leave my room.
I haven't succeeded yet.
For when I seized the grip, that is lock and handle in one, it just fell off. The screws were simply doorgedraaid (according to my dictionary this can only be translated into the imperfect language which is English, by saying "the screws don't bite", but I'm sure some/one of you must know better alternatives). Just like that. After using it for four weeks and without any fiddling on my part, they choose to fall off.
Now not only can I with difficulty open or close the door, but I am unable to lock it from the inside, and when I lock it from the outside there is a fair change a small push is enough to make the lock fall out of the lockhole (?) onto the floor.
And sweet sweet Hospitality Services don't hold office until monday.
So I do what I can: place the lock-handle back into position, don't touch it, and pray no one sneaking by tonight will notice...
